EQUIPMENT
When effectively eliminating germs, viruses, and bacteria; all cleaning equipment is not the same. That is why Coastal Advantage uses the latest in innovative technology to accomplish the task. Our equipment exceeds all commercial cleaning standards currently used throughout the industry. Our cleaning processes are currently sought after by community leaders who are concerned with the health of their staff and customers. Coastal Advantage provides cleaning programs that are both revolutionary and comprehensive, which can be tailored to meet the needs of any organization. Our advanced cleaning processes ensure that your building is cleaned by the highest standards. Coastal Advantage Green Visions, a certified green cleaning program, exceeds all regulations and standards established by Green Seal, OSHA, United States Green Building Council (USGBC), and Green Guard.
No-Touch Cleaning Solution
Coastal
Advantage uses this breakthrough in commercial cleaning and is essential in our green cleaning efforts in maintaining air quality and a true clean. This piece of equipment is a combination pressure washer and wet vac which cleans the restrooms “hands free” (without using dirty mops and dirty water, another typical industry problem).
Traditional cleaning methods use mops, buckets and wipers that simply spread dirt and contaminated water around, failing to penetrate the dirt areas. Only a small portion of the soil is removed creating a breeding ground for germs and odor-causing bacteria.
Designed for total soil removal, No-Touch Cleaning combines an indoor pressure washer, chemical injection and wet vacuum technologies onto a single space-efficient platform. Workers simply spray cleaning solution on fixtures and floors, and then blast the soils to the floor with a high-pressure water spray. Finally, they vacuum the floor dry, completely removing soils and bacteria. The results are sparkling clean restrooms, desk tops, and carpet sand more without ever touching a contaminated surface. No more soil, no more odor, no more complaints.
Surface Cleaning
This cleaning method combines microfiber pads, a window squeegee, and a motorized sprayer that effectively cleans surfaces and helps remove harmful biopollutants. It is so effective that recent bacteria testing show the removal of over 85 times more bacteria than conventional methods, such as microfiber towels or conventional towels.
The Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) Virus is believed to be responsible for 19,000 deaths and 94,000 serious infections each year. Many of which occur in public settings such as classrooms, hospitals, etc. MRSA is resistant to methicillin, oxacillin, penicillin and amoxicillin, but can be treated with other antibiotics. Coastal Advantage uses the tools necessary to kill the virus on contact.
Flooring Solutions
Coastal
Advantage provides a solution to all flooring problems. Gone forever are bubbles and streaks, dull or hazy finishes, uneven coats, wax on the baseboards, bacteria, dirt, and so on. This flawless system allows our professionals to effectively clean without cross contamination and also eliminates aggravating and costly flaws that result from applying floor waxes and finishes.
Precise Flow Control
This instrument allows the worker to control exactly how much solution goes onto the floor by using the flow control spigot; which in turn, allows the solution in the bucket to stay fresh and clean.
Smooth Application
The system uses a patented flow control gauge and flow control fingers to measure the correct amount of solution that is transferred to the floor. With the flow control fingers set, the operator is ready to release solution onto the floor. The traditional mop has been replaced with a double-bend ergonomic handle and a revolutionary microfiber cleaning pad.
Microfiber Pad Technology
The microfiber cleaning pad’s flat surface and even pressure picks up more soil than dust mops and wet mops. Cleaner floors keep their shine longer and require less stripping. The super absorbency of the pad also means less moisture on the floor and faster drying times – reducing slip and fall incidences. When the microfiber pads become soiled they are removed and fresh pads are installed. This ensures contaminants are not spread throughout the facility and guarantees a cleaner, healthier work environment.
Green Seal Approved Vacuums
Coastal
Advantage uses only Carpet & Rug Institute approved “Green Label” vacuum cleaners. These highly efficient vacuums not only improve indoor air quality, but also increase the life of your carpet. These high performance machines effectively remove and contain soil while ensuring a healthier indoor environment.
The Green Label Testing Program, introduced by the Carpet & Rug Institute (CRI) in 2000, was designed to identify superior cleaning equipment. There are three key performance factors measured to determine if a vacuum qualifies for a Green Label Certification. These factors are as follows:
Soil Removal A vacuum must remove a set amount of soil from a carpet in four passes.
Dust Containment No more than 100 micrograms of dust particles per cubic meter of air by the vacuum. This protocol evaluates the total amount of dust particles released by the vacuum, and is more stringent than the National Ambient Air Quality Standards. High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters remove a minimum of 99.97% of contaminants at 0.3 microns in size.
Carpet Appearance Retention In one year of normal use, the vacuum should not affect the appearance of the carpet more than a one-step change.
Revolutionary Microfiber Technology
Coverall Cleaning Concepts’ proprietary healthcare system has employed the use of color-coded microfiber technology to ensure a sanitary environment and reduce the risks associated with nosocomial infection and contribute proactively to your infection control program in your facility. Microfiber dusting cloths and flat mops outperform traditional materials and can often be used to remove soils without the need for chemical compounds. Microfiber captures and removes pollutants instead of just moving them around. This miracle of technology can be laundered and reused, minimizing waste. Other benefits of Microfiber Technology include:
Microfiber attracts dirt, grease and grime with its small angled edges along the fibers that pull in and attract dirt leaving the surface truly clean.
Microfiber absorbs twice the amount of water than cotton and other cleaning fibers in half the time.
Microfiber’s durability allows it to be washed and reused, reducing pollution and chemical hazards.
Microfiber is completely lint-free and non-abrasive.
Studies show a distinct advantage in the removal of pathogens by utilizing microfiber.
Coastal Advantage uses this technology and implements further guards against fighting germ warfare, to include the elimination of cross contamination through the frequent changing of cloths plus each color is designated for a particular cleaning performance.
